The sessions are held in our new studio. It is secure, bright, and conveniently located in the heart of Westbank. The studio features everything you need for great sessions: mixer, speakers, monitors, guitar and bass amps and pedals, keyboards, drums, microphones - even lights and recording gear!

WHEN:                                                                                                                                                                           Each “band” session includes nine 90 minute sessions. This is a regular once per week rehearsal. A final concert, with full production, at a local venue will be announced closer to end of the program.



WHO:                                                                                                                                                                         Players of all levels and ages are welcome. We firmly believe that students of various levels learn from and inspire each other. If you already have a band (brand new or been playing for a while) you can join as a group, we can get you to the next level. Together we’ll pick songs that will continue to add to the vast spectrum of your musical knowledge and also inspire the band to rock on!! Rock music is “good clean fun, from AC/DC, punk, Reggae to Led Zeppelin, each style has a valuable musical lesson. We put together the band, select material, practice like crazy, and put on a concert…awesome! Dan Summers, owner/guitar instructor of The Music Room. Dan has been a full-time music teacher for 13 years and a professional guitarist, bassist, and singer for over 20 years in all styles of music from AC/DC to Zeppelin. Dan also plays drums, keyboards, harmonica, fiddle, etc.
